Our Story

For three generations, the art of fur has been passed down through the Boivin family, rooted in heritage, tradition, and an unwavering commitment to excellence. Over the decades, the Boivin family has become one of the most recognized names in the Canadian fur industry, building a reputation defined by quality, expertise, and timeless luxury.

Our story began with Les Fourrures Boivin, founded by Clément Boivin, whose dedication to traditional savoir-faire laid the foundation for a lasting family legacy. His son, Frédéric Boivin, continued this tradition by founding Les Fourrures du Vieux-Port in Québec City and later expanding the vision to Ottawa.

Through years of growth and dedication to the industry, Frédéric Boivin brought together several of the most respected names in the market. By acquiring Dworkins Furs and Pat Flesher Furs, he united Les Fourrures Boivin, Les Fourrures du Vieux-Port, Dworkins, and Pat Flesher under one distinguished legacy, creating the largest presence in the Canadian fur market.

Today, the company is led by Frédéric Boivin alongside his daughter, Maïka Boivin, marking a new chapter that honors the past while embracing a refined, modern perspective. Together, they continue to carry forward a tradition defined by exceptional materials, attention to detail, and a deep respect for the heritage of fine fur.

Each piece reflects not only the finest materials and technique, but a family legacy shaped by generations of passion, integrity, and quiet excellence.
